Shelter
is available on DVD to watch and stars Julianne Moore and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. It's a dark, psychodramatic thriller that is haunting to watch. Anyone who loves scary thrillers will enjoy watching Shelter.
Shelter - What's the Movie About?
Julianne Moore
plays a specialist psychiatrist, named Cara Jessup, who studies a patient given to her by her father. The patient, Adam (played by Jonathan Rhys-Meyers) has multiple personalities, some of which are frighteningly scary, as they are personalities of people who have been brutally murdered. The psychiatrist discovers that there is a terrifying secret, which is locked deep in Adam's mind. She starts to look into each personality and discovers each one is already dead. What she doesn't realize is that her interest in Adam's mind puts her and her family in terrible danger.
The movie was interesting and quite eerie but it's not a total flop in my opinion. It's worth a watch.
I rate Shelter 6 out of 10. Rotten Tomatoes rates it 4% and the audience score is 45%.
