The Most Popular Romance Movies You Should See

I really love watching romantic movies, so for all those romantics out there, I have compiled a list of movies that I have enjoyed in the past.

Here they are...

I picked twelve romantic movies that I think are worth watching. Would you consider watching a romantic movie? What romantic movies do you enjoy?

Here are my favorite romantic movies in no particular order:

THE TITANIC

The Titanic stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslette. This movie is a tragic love story that takes place on board the Titanic.  Guaranteed to make you cry. I rate it 9 out of 10.

DIRTY DANCING

Dirty Dancing stars Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey. This movie is a romance with lots of dancing.  An enjoyable classic movie in my opinion. I rate it 8 out of 10.

THE NOTEBOOK

The Notebook stars Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling. A poor man falls in love with a rich woman. I rate this movie 8 out of 10.

GREASE

Grease stars John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. This is a musical with a great romantic feel to it. I rate it 9 out of 10.

WORKING GIRL

Working Girl stars Harrison Ford, Melanie Griffith, and Sigourney Weaver. This movie is a story about a working girl who falls for her boss's partner. I rate Working Girl 8 out of 10.

PRETTY WOMAN

Pretty Woman starred Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. This movie is a modern-day fairy tale romance story. A rich businessman hires an escort, who is a prostitute, for some social events. Of course, he falls in love with her. If you want to feel romance again, then watch this one. I rate Pretty Woman 9 out of 10.

AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN

An Officer and a Gentleman starred Richard Gere and Debra Winger. An Officer meets a girl who he gets romantically involved with and he starts to fall for her.  This movie is excellent in my opinion. I rate it 9 out of 10.

NOTTING HILL

Notting Hill stars Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. This movie is about a bookshop owner in Notting Hill in England who one day gets a visit from a famous American movie star that changes his life. This is is such a great romantic movie. I rate it 9 out of 10.

THE PROPOSAL

The Proposal stars Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. Sandra Bullock plays a boss who is about to have her visa run out in the USA, so she asks her assistant to marry her. This is a funny romantic comedy. I rate it 7 out of 10.

DEAR JOHN

Dear John stars Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried. This movie is about a soldier who falls for a young college student who has a heart of gold. This is a romantic drama that will give you tears.  A movie worth watching. I rate it 8 out of 10.

GONE WITH THE WIND

Gone With the Wind is a classic romance movie about love, poverty, and dramatic events. This is an oldie. Expect some tears for the sad moments. A sad romance starring Clark Gable. I rate it 9 out of 10.

BRIDGET JONES DIARY

Bridget Jones Diary is another romantic movie that I loved. It stars Rene Zellweger, Colin Firth, and Hugh Grant. You can watch a few of these movies now but make sure you watch the first one. Its comedy romance storyline is so funny but very enjoyable to watch. It's one of those movies you want to watch over and over. I rate it 8 out of 10.
