Lucy was written and directed by Luc Besson who, also, wrote Nikita and The Fifth Element along with a few other movies like Transporter, Taken, Brick Mansions and many more. He seems to have a talent for creating some tough female characters like Lucy in the past. His writing career started at a young age and has gone on to be a success.

Scarlett Johansson has, also, had some recent success in the past with her characters. One of her recent roles was a the voice of Samantha in the called Her. She has recently been in the movie Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Lucy the movie is a story about a girl called Lucy who is accidentally caught up in a drugs deal that goes terribly wrong. The movie starts off by us seeing Lucy with a guy she has just met who tries to get her to deliver a brief case. She tries to refuse, but then he suddenly hand cuffs the case to her wrist so she has no choice but to do it.
