Frozen (2010) - a movie I enjoyed... thrilling and scary!

Frozen begins as an everyday kind of story that turns into a shocking horror movie. It stars Emma Bell, Shawn Ashmore, and Kevin Zegers. The movie was made in 2010.


What's Frozen About?

Frozen is about three college students: Dan, Joe, and Dan's girlfriend Parker, who go skiing on a Sunday afternoon. 

Just an ordinary day out on the slopes turns into a hellish nightmare for these college students. The guys didn't want to pay full price tickets, so Dan convinces Parker to bribe the ski lift guy to let them on. 

They get on the ski lift, which suddenly stops, leaving them stuck for several minutes, which freaks Parker out. Eventually, it gets going again and they get to do their skiing for the afternoon.

As evening falls, they decide to ski one last time. They remind the ski attendant about their earlier "deal" and he lets them on again. He tells them that the ski lifts are shutting down early, because a storm is coming, so they have to be quick. 

When the ski attendant changes hands with another worker, he tells him that there are presently three skiers still out there, so he tells him not to shut down the ski lifts until he sees three skiers finishing. 

Of course, the worker sees three (other) male skiers finishing and thinks they must be the last three.

This is an interesting movie with some thrilling twists and turns. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

I rate Frozen 2010 6 out of 10. Rotten Tomatoes rates it 64% and the audience score is 46%.
